Claim your wallet addresses
We attribute wallets to operators from explorer labels, published datasets and transaction patterns. That inference is the weakest link in everything on this site, and when it is wrong the operator is the one misrepresented. This fixes it, without asking anyone to touch a private key.
What to do
Publish a plain text file at https://yourdomain/.well-known/tekel-addresses.txt listing your addresses. That is the whole process — no account, no signing, no email to us, nothing to pay. Because only whoever controls your domain can put a file there, publishing it is itself the proof.

One address per line: chain, address, and an optional label. Blank lines and # comments are ignored. Supported chains: ETH and every EVM network, TRON, BTC, LTC, SOL, XRP.

The checker reads the file live and tells you exactly what we parsed, including any lines we could not read.
What happens then
Declared addresses are evidence, not an override. We reconcile them against what the chain actually shows before anything public changes — you cannot raise your own reserve figure by listing wallets you do not control, and we would not be worth citing if you could. What a declaration does do is replace our guess with your statement, which is strictly better for both of us.
We re-read the file periodically. If it changes, we follow it; if it disappears, the previous declarations are marked withdrawn rather than deleted, because a withdrawal is itself part of the record.
Why not a signed message
Because it does not survive contact with a real operator. Signing means handing a hot-wallet key to whoever handles marketing requests, and no competent risk team allows that — so the "rigorous" method gets adopted by nobody. Domain control is checkable by anyone, costs a webmaster five minutes, touches no funds, and puts the same assertion on the public record.
Effect on your transparency score
Published addresses move the largest component of the transparency score — wallets identifiable — and usually the reserve and multi-chain components with it, because we can finally see the whole picture. Nothing here is for sale: the only way to move the number is to disclose more. The badge follows automatically.
